Do you also have a friend who's copying your life? I have a friend who isn't creative at all - I feel like he's a life leech or something. Whatever I do that works, he copies it. A few examples:

• Started coding
  He began learning to code using exactly the same stack as me, especially after I mentioned the pros and cons - even though before that, he was learning something else.

• Made a cool resume in HTML using UI libraries so it looked very polished, then converted it to PDF
  He did the same thing, because all the recruiters said my CV was perfect.

• I say something clever or funny
  He later repeats it, or copies my rizz sayings.

Basically, whatever I do that brings some kind of success or recognition, he copies it.

NGL, I don’t hate it entirely because it kind of validates that my ideas are good. And actually, he’s not the only one - my gf and coworkers sometimes copy my solutions too. But what really bothers me is that he pretends he came up with it all on his own.

For example, his resume was trash until I showed him mine. He instantly copied it. A few months later, he claimed he came up with it himself and didn't mention that I showed him my custom HTML template. Like, bro, really?

I’m seriously thinking about coming up with a dumb idea and recommending it to him as the “best idea of my life,” just to see if he copies it and ends up losing money or a job or something. Fucking copy guy.
